I tuned in to WJR and heard an advertisement for Pure Silk, followed by a station ID "Best of the Midnight Radio Network on News Talk 760 WJR." Eric Hurley and Gary McNamara were hosting a political talk show about Rep. Ron Paul's desire to impeach President Obama.
Advertisements for the Delo family of products, Freightliner Trucks, and Western Star followed. There was a time check at 30 minutes after the hour, followed by traffic and weather reports. Advertisements for Toys 'R Us and Home.ServiceMagic.com came next, as well as messages for various Detroit cultural events.
